A Building Team from Oceanview Fellowship Church in Indialantic, Florida

began a church building project for New Vision of the New Revelation Church in Nassau, Bahamas in November 2024. The Pastor of New Vision is Limage Philogen who has been associated with Caribbean Vison Ministries for a number of years. His church is a member of the Charis Alliance and is a ministry to the Haitians residing in the Nassau area.
Another building team from Oceanview is scheduled to return to Nassau to complete their project April 1-6. Pastor Bill Tweeddale from Oceanview describes their recent and next trip like this: “I think it will be hard to top what was accomplished in November 2024. A 2-story church/Seminary roughed & dried in all in 4 days. This trip, Lord willing, we will finish what we started. Shingles, windows, plumbing, electrical. I know that seems like a lot for 4 days, but this crew of men and women truly live out the Bible, ‘Whatever thy hand finds to do, do it with all thy might.’ Long days, tight quarters, blood, sweat and tears…I honestly can’t wait. To those heading down, I considerate an honor to serve side by side with each and everyone of you. To those back at the Homefront…pray, pray, pray. Last trip the Team spent $11,980 on materials. This trip, Lord willing we would like to raise $13,500 to complete the project.”
The Team needs your help to raise the $13,300 plus they have a few members who still need sponsorship for the trip expenses. The completion of this project is vital to the ministry of Caribbean Vision Ministries in the Bahamas as it will provide a meeting place for another Grace Theological Institute that will train Pastors and Church Leaders for reaching the multitudes of Haitians living in the Bahamas. The Institute will allow for growth in spreading the gospel, churches being planted and God being glorified. Pastor Dumont Cardichon from Caribbean Vision Ministries, who has served the Bahamas Haitians for many years, will also be with the Team to minister and assist the Team with their needs.
Your prayer and financial help with the expenses of this Team would be deeply appreciated. As you would note, the deadline for raising funds for this Team is rushing upon us, so a prompt response to this need would be appreciated. You gift for this project can be mailed to: Caribbean Visions Ministries, 14458 Via Royale, Delray Beach, FL 33446 and marked “April Bahamas Project.” You may also give via the Caribbean Vision Ministries website. If you give via the website please send me a note at chuckdavis.cvm@gmail.com and let me know you gave.
Let’s help this Team of volunteers to do something great for God’s Kingdom in the Bahamas. For this Team the Bahamas is not vacation land but a MISSIONS FIELD.
Please pray for them and assist them in their work for God.
